Introducing MCOR’s new Chief Operating Officer
The Medical Center at Ocean Reef is pleased to announce the addition of Jill Burgess as Chief Operating Officer.
Jill Burgess brings 35+ years of health care leadership, starting with managing a private physician practice in Fort Lauderdale; 18 years with Cleveland Clinic Florida and most recently the Executive Director of Clinic Operations and Business Development for NSU Health at Nova Southeastern University. During her time at Cleveland Clinic, she was appointed to open the Clinic’s new strategic location in West Palm Beach so that the Palm Beach community could access care closer to their homes. This location provided concierge services and under Jill’s leadership experienced tremendous growth, resulting in the expansion of services and an eventual opening of a Palm Beach Gardens location.
Jill has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Florida Atlantic University and obtained her MBA from Nova Southeastern University. She enjoys playing pickleball, working out, cooking and fishing, and is a dedicated Miami Dolphins fan.
Jill states, “I am thrilled to be joining such a wonderful team of caregivers who provide such caring and quality healthcare to the patients of The Medical Center. I am looking forward to working with Keith Young, CEO; the Medical Center Board of Directors and staff to continue their stewardship and that my past experience can further enhance the patient experience and daily operations.”
