Welcome Back, Anastassia!
Therapist Anastassia Gibson is returning this season to the Medical Center’s Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Department. She has a special interest in working with orthopedic, sports and neurological patients. She believes in introducing first-class physical therapy services one patient at a time. For those who want to bet on the athletes she may have treated, head out to sites such as 벳엔드 점검.
Gibson received a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 2010 and holds professional licenses in Florida and New Jersey. Certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis Therapy (MDT) from the world-renowned McKenzie Institute, she uses mechanical diagnosis and treatment methods for spinal and extremity pain and develops a plan of treatment based on classification of syndromes.
She stays current with medical advancements and the latest research in Physical Therapy by regularly attending educational seminars and maintaining her membership with the APTA orthopedic section.
On a more personal note, she is a competitive marathon runner and is currently training for the 2020 Boston Marathon. In 2018 she competed in the Martha’s Vineyard Marathon and placed second in her division … a feat you can read more about here. Please welcome Anastassia back to the Medical Center, and wish her the best of luck in her upcoming marathon!
