Jorge Tirado, M.D.

The Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Board-certified physician Jorge I. Tirado, M.D., to its primary care staff. Dedicated to holistic and compassionate patient care, Dr. Tirado is an experienced Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physician who has worked in diverse healthcare settings in the United States and abroad.

Dr. Tirado earned his Medical Degree from the University of Medical Sciences in Havana, Cuba, where he also achieved his Master in Atherosclerosis Research. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Manuel Fajardo General Hospital in Havana; and an Internal Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, CUNY School of Medicine, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.

St. Barnabas Hospital recognized Dr. Tirado with a special award for outstanding service during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Dr. Tirado is fluent in English, Spanish and basic Italian. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, and following the European soccer league. His hobbies include Spanish guitar and oil painting, and he is passionate about animals.
