Medical Center Welcomes New Neurology, Endocrinology Specialists

Dr. Faradji

The Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of visiting specialists Dr. Victor Faradji and Dr. Pascual DeSantis.

Victor Faradji, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist and practices general adult and adolescent neurology with a special interest in electromyography (EMG), a diagnostic procedure to assess the health of muscles and the nerve cells (motor neurons) that control them. EMG results can reveal nerve and muscle dysfunction and problems with nerve-to-muscle signal transmission.

Dr. Faradji also specializes in neuromuscular and spinal disorders, migraines, vertigo and dementia. He is proficient in the Epley repositioning maneuver for benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, a maneuver that incorporates a series of movements that help to reposition crystals in a person’s ear that may cause feelings of vertigo.

Dr. De Santis

Dr. Faradji earned his Medical Degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City and completed his Internal Medicine internship and Neurology residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami. He has participated in scientific research studies involving diabetic neuropathy and Alzheimer’s disease. He is affiliated with First Choice Neurology. Pascual De Santis, M.D., is an endocrinologist with Baptist Health Medical Group. He is board-certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine and specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions relating to the endocrine system, the most common of which are diabetes and thyroid conditions. He also specializes in pituitary diseases and adrenal disorders.

Dr. De Santis received his Medical Degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela Escuela de Medicina, in Caracas, Venezuela. His post-doctoral training includes two fellowships – one in Clinical Pharmacology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and another in Endocrinology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He has authored several scientific articles in his specialty and has presented posters and abstracts at numerous national and international meetings.
