Ladies Night Out: "Be Your Best Self ... Look as Good as You Feel!"

If you missed last season's “Ladies Night Out” series, you won’t want to miss this year.  Last year was a huge success, attended by over 100 women at each event, receiving valuable information in a relaxed, informative atmosphere.  Ladies Night Out is the brainchild of Judy Brand,  (Medical Center’s Education and Communications Committee Chairman) and Barbara Olcott chairs this year’s event.

Dr. John Cassel, a visiting plastic surgeon at the Medical Center, will be the speaker on January 17, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Medical Center. He is a board- certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who trained at Tufts University, University of Miami, University of Virginia, and Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. He has been named in “Who’s Who Worldwide” and “U.S News and World Report Top Doc’s”. Dr. Cassel’s offices are located in Miami, Florida and he has a long-standing relationship with Ocean Reef and the Medical Center.

Dr. Cassel will be discussing the latest minimally invasive surgical procedures and new techniques to help you look your best. In the last decade surgical techniques have radically changed and technological advances have increased the options you can now consider.  Dr. Cassel, who just recently tried this procedure himself, will review an exciting new concept “Zeltiq Coolsculpting”.  Coolsculpting is a FDA-approved non- invasive technique for fat reduction. The technique employs cold to reduce fat cells thereby enhancing the shape of the body. Europe and Canada have been using this technique since 2009.

Gone are the days of major downtime for plastic surgery with so many new techniques and minimally invasive ways to look and feel your best.

Dr. Cassel will also touch on the topic of hyaluronic fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane and Botox that support facial structures and tissues that have lost volume or elasticity due to normal aging.

Please join us for an informative evening, have a glass of wine and appetizers and hear what’s new and what could be the “New You in the New Year”.
